Acting as the first point of contact for our clients you’ll be responsible for providing an excellent standard of customer service to our clients, and exceptional support to the HR Consultants and business, ensuring the office runs smoothly and a professional service is delivered. You will be supported to gain experience in all aspects of HR, including the full employee lifecycle, and have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of HR and Resourcing tasks and projects.

The Company:

Fitzgerald HR provides a friendly yet professional outsourced HR service to employers across the UK.

We work with a wide range of businesses (from manufacturing and professional services, to charities and healthcare) and offer a completely flexible service – some clients see us as an extension of their team providing their full HR service, whilst others work with us on individual projects. This means no two days are ever the same.

Operating since 2008, we now have a presence in North Devon, Somerset, London and the South East, with exciting plans to continue growing, developing and evolving to meet the changing needs of our clients. We’re a friendly, supportive and optimistic team, where everyone’s input and ideas count; we’re also passionate about what we do.

The Person:

Being a people person, you’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good attention to detail and the ability to build strong working relationships with clients. You’re able to relate to individuals at all levels with tact and integrity whilst recognising the need to uphold our professional standards. With an interest in HR and resourcing, you’ll have experience of managing and prioritising your own workload. You will demonstrate strong organisation skills and have a proactive approach to your work. With a keen eye for detail, you’re proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and are able to learn new systems quickly. With a positive outlook, you deliver excellent customer service at all times and enjoy working in a busy office with a changeable workload.

It’s essential that you hold a full UK driving licence, whilst experience in a busy administration role is desirable.

The Rewards:

In return we offer:

  • A competitive salary package
  • 29 days’ holiday per year (plus bank holidays)
  • Opportunities for training, progression and career development
  • Employer contributions of 3% towards a workplace pension scheme
  • Childcare voucher scheme
  • The opportunity to be part of a progressive and expanding business
