Graduate Trainee HR Adviser
Job Type: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Starting Salary: £20,000 to £22,000 per annum
Location: Barnstaple, North Devon
We’re seeking a motivated and organised individual with excellent communication skills to join our team in North Devon. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start a career in HR with a clear structure for growth, development and career progression.
Acting as the first point of contact for our clients you’ll be responsible for providing an excellent standard of customer service to our clients, and exceptional support to the HR Consultants and business, ensuring the office runs smoothly and a professional service is delivered. You will be supported to gain experience in all aspects of HR, including the full employee lifecycle, and have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of HR and Resourcing tasks and projects.
You will also have the opportunity to work alongside the HR Consultants whilst you build and develop your career, as well as to gain a professional qualification in Human Resource Management.

Being a people person, you’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good attention to detail and the ability to build strong working relationships with clients. With an interest in HR and resourcing, you’ll have experience of managing and prioritising your own workload. You will demonstrate strong organisation skills and have a proactive approach to your work. With a keen eye for detail, you’re proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and are able to learn new systems quickly. With a positive outlook, you deliver excellent customer service at all times and enjoy working in a busy office with a changeable workload.
It’s essential that you hold a full UK driving licence, whilst experience in a busy administration role is desirable.
