Fitzgerald HR is working with CareerSpot to recruit for the position of HR Adviser.

The Role:

We’re looking for a HR Adviser to deliver a high quality and professional HR service to our clients, providing expert HR advice and guidance to develop lasting relationships to help strengthen and grow existing accounts.

The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact in the office and will support the HR Consultants in the delivery of a high quality and professional HR service to our clients. As the first point contact for our clients, you will answer telephone calls and emails providing timely and accurate advice and guidance, in addition to producing letters and documentation to support the employee lifecycle and travelling to client sites when required.

You will develop an in depth knowledge of our clients’ businesses and with a good understanding of employment law, you will maintain and updates policies and handbooks in line with legislation. With a solid understanding of the employee lifecycle you will support the HR Consultants and our clients with a broad range of HR issues including, disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings, resourcing, attendance management, capability and redundancy processes.

The Person:

You will have experience of operating as a HR generalist/adviser with experience of advising managers and staff on a broad range of HR issues, and drafting formal and informal staff communications.

With excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to adapt your style to suit a variety of clients, you will build and develop lasting relationships with all stakeholders.

A full clean UK driving licence is a must as is a willingness to travel. You will be comfortable in using a range of IT systems and proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
