We are a family run business, established almost 30 years ago and operate from our 240,000 sq. ft. warehouse located in North Devon. The Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing and Sales Support to join our team. This role has a variety of responsibilities which include but are not limited to; To oversee and implement the Marketing and Social media for the Company; Design, develop and implement marketing campaigns in line with overall commercial strategy (for both trade and retail store); Provide general administrative support for Sales and Marketing; Maintain an up-to-date supplier contact database; Work with digital teams and external agencies to manage analytics, user experience, social media, SEM and web management; Design and develop point of sale material such as brochures and advertisements; Maintain the Company’s website and update with new products etc.; Develop online products file and other sales projects; Work with the sales team to provide quotations to customers as required; Direct communication with customers to follow up their enquiries over phone or email; Ensure effective sales support strategy and tools are in place and maintained; Assist in other office activities such as credit control when required. The Person: The successful candidate will work on-site and be comfortable working alone or as part of a project team. They must be able to work closely with the Directors of the company, have excellent attention to detail, be well organised, self-disciplined and able to complete projects with limited supervision. They must also hold excellent communication skills, possess the skill set to build relationships with ease and have customer service experience. Requirements: It is essential that the candidate is PC literate, including software such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and email. They must also have expert knowledge of brand marketing techniques, tools and platforms, and experience of strategic marketing planning and implementation. The successful candidate will have previous marketing experience and experience of leading projects. Desirable but not essential attributes include experience in Sage 200 (or similar accounting packages), as well as experience using the Adobe Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and/or Photoshop.
