Shut-Down Administrator

Job Type: Part Time

Salary: £10.00 per hour

Working pattern: 17.00 to 20.00 Sunday to Thursday
Location: Witney, Oxford


The Company:

Philip Dennis Foodservice is a well-established family business distributing Frozen, Chilled and Ambient goods, as well as Fresh Butchery and Fresh Fish products, to customers throughout Oxfordshire, the Midlands and the South West of England.


The Role:

We’re seeking a professional and diligent part time Shut Down Administrator to cover the day end process at our Witney depot. The role includes liaising with the telesales staff to ensure all paperwork has been printed and the issuing of all paperwork to the nightshift staff. You will also organise all invoices for the next delivery day, to ensure a smooth dispatch process the following morning.


Taking pride in your work, you’ll enjoy working as part of a team, adhering to all health & safety policies, maintaining a clean and orderly depot and reporting any unsafe acts or hazards to the Supervisor for the good of all employees.


The Person:

With experience in a similar role, you’re experienced working within a team and in a warehouse setting. With strong communication skills, you’re a team player and are used to working with people at all levels. Calm under pressure, your strong organisation and time management skills allow you to be flexible and adaptable to change. You can be relied upon, and are happy working on your own initiative, whilst possessing a keen eye for detail, you are also passionate about customer service. Experience working in the foodservice industry and holding a forklift licence would be beneficial, whilst having a UK driving licence along with good numeracy, literacy and IT skills are essential.
