The Role: We’re seeking two self-motivated and diligent Warehouse Operatives to join the night shifts at our Ilfracombe depot. The accuracy of the night shift operations is critical to the smooth running of our wider business functions and in maintaining our high levels of customer satisfaction. You will be part of a team that ensures all vehicles are loaded with the correct stock and packed in a logical fashion for the booked delivery route. You’ll report any out of stock incidents and feedback on any errors to the Night Shift Supervisor, who will then identify improvements and take corrective action, as required. Taking pride in your work, you’ll enjoy working as part of a team, adhering to all health & safety policies, maintaining a clean and orderly depot and reporting any unsafe acts or hazards to the Supervisor. What you’ll need to succeed: Experience in a similar role in a warehouse setting Strong communication skills and used to working with people at all levels Ability to work in a team environment with a proactive approach to work Calm under pressure with strong organisation and time management abilities Known for your reliability, you’re happy working on your own initiative. Excellent attention to detail Experience working in the foodservice industry and holding a forklift licence would be beneficial, whilst having a full UK driving licence, manual handling abilities and a good standard of numeracy, literacy and IT skills are essential.
